And here's a little taster from the test day, fabricated by my smartphone camera. I would definitely sign for having to spend my 24 hours at this apex.

Rob Bell joins Shane van Gisbergen on the #101 McLaren, and the third driver (TBA) is probably going to be a McLaren driver as well

First post updated with a new entry list: http://vmail.vertouk.com/userfiles/sro/ ... 20July.pdf

Some forfeits, some additions = 61 cars, so a net bonus of 1 car. The third HTP Mercedes for last year's winners Buhk/Götz and the MRS McLaren for Alexei Vasiliev are great additions. In my opinion the #4 Audi can be a surprising frontrunner, with 4 veteran Spa-connaisseurs and ex-winners. Also former F1 star Giorgio Pantano has been added to the #15.

The BoP-changes have been announced as well:
R8 Ultra loses 10kg but have their restrictors enlarged by 0.3mm
BMW Z4 gains 15kg
Ferrari 458/Lamborghini/Porsche 997 GT3 R gain 10kg
Bentley gains 10kg and has adjusted turbo pressure
McLaren/Nissan gain 5kg and have adjusted turbo pressure

Don't know when i'll show up. At this time I get of work at 7.30. So that'll make it about 10pm when I arrive. If I try and switch shifts I could be there by 8. Other posibility is that I just leave sunday early in the morning.

If they predict a clear nightsky I might leave after work and first head to Botrange for the night to try and grab some pics of the night sky.

All in all, I have no clue when I'll get there. :p

Looking at the KMI website it'll be an interesting race with this weather. Periods of sunshine, showers and perhaps even a thunderstorm throughout the entire weekend. Should be fun.

So a bit like last year then with the storm approaching the track at night

And everyone fleeing to their cars

That turned out okay no? I remember the wind suddenly picking up, and after I got to my car I saw some flashes and some rain, nothing more. :p

Ah, that glorious moment when the wind picked up. I thought I'd never cool down ever again! As far as I can remember, it never really rained more than a few drops. The ground was sufficiently dry the morning after, that lying down for a snooze on the outside of Stavelot wasn't an issue. Which, incidentally, is the best decision I've ever made in my entire life
