Even for the craziest races, I usually hold my 10 and hand out a 9, since there's always room for improvement as long as there are still races left in the season.

Well, not this time. This is the Perfect Race, and it deserves an immediate 10.

Wow! I am amazed at all the 10s. It was a 7 for me, it promised a great deal but it never really delivered. The Perez train held distance for a long time after they caught up. It might have been an 8 with the crashes and the early Ham/Ros fight but it let itself down.
Still good, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it.

8. At first it looked like being another boring GP with nothing but fake DRS overtakes and there was a first lap safety car, which is a pet hate of mine. After Mercedes had their problems though, brilliant. Imagine Murray Walker commentating on that!

Canada never disappoints.

What happens when you open the thread right after the race, everyone caught up in the excitement.

Anyone giving this a 9 or less needs to get out and stop watching racing altogether

I was generous enough and gave it an 8.

Don't blame me if other series spoiled me with real racing like in the last TUSC race where there was a real battle(no DRS or shabby tyres involved) and overtake for the lead in the last lap. Or Indy500, or first hour of 6h of Silverstone and etc...

Imo, other series have provided, at some points, this year, far better racing than Bahrain or Canada F1 races

This race was good because of all the drama and unpredictability of it but not for outstanding racing.

I will keep watching racing(present in other several series) and even F1 too :p ;)

8, I enjoyed the racing at Bahrain more because it was more actual racecraft and genuine battles taking place. Still a cracking race though.

I like how this forum conveniently forgets the first half of the races where sweet fuck all usually happens. A 10/10 says the race couldn't have got any better when it quite clearly could have. Even my 9 was being generous.

I never rate a race compared to other races. Fuck rational thinking, I rate in terms of the amount of edge-of-seat'ing and applause-in-front-of-TV a race has given me.

10 for all the tension after Ham and Ros started to have problems. Could be a 9 for not many fight for the win, but I'll put the blame on the TV for not seeing Riciardo closing in on Rosberg.

Yeah this was the first F1 race in a looooong time where I didn't move from my (uncomfortable) seat.

This was a more interesting race than Bahrain. I didn't really see what was so great about that race.

Screw it. 10.

Tense lead battle throughout - Hamilton finally takes the lead and then his brakes die. Massa looks good then pits. Perez looking like he could snatch it if Rosberg slips once and lets him in DRS range and finally one of the nicest guys on the grid grabs a maiden win.

I haven't said 'Shut Up, I'm watching the Grand Prix' in a looooonnnnnnggg time. When I remember that there's not much overtaking in F1, and normally cars are just glued to the racetrack, I can't do much other than give it a 10.

I thought the iRacing World Championship finish was crazy. This made that look tame.
