2014 Nürburgring 24 Hour Race

I hope there isn´t already a topic for this race. if there is one, a mod could delete this one?

as a little preview for the race here are some pictures from me from the qualy race

who will be at the ring for this race?

i´ll be there from wednesday till sunday, most of the time at hatzenbach, because i´m there as a marshall, in the free time i´ll go a bit around the track.

Hope there we have better weather then last year

Looking forward to this one too. I hope for a good result Richard Göransson this year too, after a 2nd place last year (thanks to Maxime Martin!) He crashed during testing though:

Sport1 (Germany) only as far as I know. Highlights might be on MotorsTV.

I'm thinking about going on saturday...How is the parking situation? After all there's quite a distance between the GP track/paddock area, and the Nordschleife bits.
And judging my TV images from previous years the roads are usually blocked

Sonntag (sunday) , 22.06.2014:

Allerdings steht auch 2014 wieder ein offizieller Live-Stream zur Verfügung, der das Rennen in kompletter Länge live zeigt. ( like as in 2013 there will be a live stream for the full race)

MaTTzel,
i can´t remember that there was blocked roads ( only small roads to a few house´s (anliegerstraße/sackgassen) )
most of the roads are open, maybe the speed limit´s are a bit lower because of the crowd´s but they are open. parking at the gp track is also not a big problem if you don´t want to get there short before the race starts or finishes. in the "normal" times everything is fine

MaTTzel: There are shuttle busses gutting you from the gp track out on the bordschleife and back. They run consecutively, so it's not too hard to catch one. Maybe if one is full you have to wait like 20 minutes. Plus they are free.

Buuut I have a problem. I am living in Saarbrücken now, and I can't find a way to reach Nürburgring on train/bus on Saturday. Do you know any alternative way?

don´t know if florian ( schusti ) will go to the race, if yes he maybe can help you??

or maybe use a app with the "car sharing/private taxi" services. there are loads of spectators, maybe someone has enought space for a little bit "fuel money"
