Well, what do you do when you're angry? And you feel robbed, frustrated, impeded - whether it's justified or not? You don't want to talk, you don't want to smile, you just need some time to cool down, it's human.

Drivers can't do it because he has cameras all around. if anything, shutting up is more mature rather than saying something stupid in the heat of the moment.

Yes and I agree with you, but I feel he is actually hamming this up to try and create an advantage.; A response such as " I'm incredibly disappointed to not have gotten pole here, Nico had an off which spoiled my lap. I'll have to have a look at it and have a chat with Nico, but when we push hard mistakes can happen"

That's an appropriate response. Not the dick headness way he is acting at this stage.

... and the people complain that the drivers don't show any emotions... :whistling:

I love it, it shows some character, some edges. It's just about to get exciting...

After the Schumacher fiasco I don't believe in such "mistakes" like that anymore. Rosberg might have got too clever though and at the end of the day he was the first to pull the dirty trick from the bag.

So it seems everyone is finally agreeing with what I said months ago.

I disagree. This is not a karting race between friends.

He's visibly annoyed and not trying to hide it. Which is a pro, not a con, in my books.

I called Lewis a spoiled child who had a terrible attitude. I got told I was "anti-Lewis" and told not to judge him on interviews and radio calls. I was even told that he's not a bad person, as if I somehow said he was a terrible person or something. Some Brits have a hard time accepting that the British hero might actually just be a childish idiot who happens to be a very good racing driver.

That Lewis has an inflated opinion of his own entitlement?

Is a prick?

Acts like a child in the supermarket when mummy says no to chocolate?

take your pick, back when he first started, I didn't know of anybody who liked him, just saying.

that's true, and I am a fan of Lewis, but this time he is right, Rosberg cheated his way to the pole...

And I won't be surprised when Nico gets stripped of his dirty pole.

Shouldn't we think it is great we have two drivers who want to win badly in 1 team?

Imagine if Senna and Prost was during the internet era. We would all say Senna was a little whining something.

He's not even trying to make the corner.

A surprisingly high number of drivers in this era fit this description

Even Vettel

So, you believe Rosberg made a "mistake", right? Just how naive are you then? The gloves are finally off though and I almost feel sorry for Nico since he's the slower driver and will require Hamilton's DNFs to win the title IMO.

It's difficult. I feel like it was deliberate and that should result in a penalty. However, I so badly want to see Lewis starting behind him now. There could be fireworks. No penalty, please ;)

There's no naivety needed - let's flip it this way; how can you prove he did it on purpose? It's not as if other drivers hadn't been off there this weekend.

Allegedly the investigation isn't even about the legitimacy if the incident anyway - it's because Rosberg reversed back onto the track after it.

He was too far off and too fast to turn without crashing in the wall. Drivers do it all the time here, if you think that turning puts you in the wall, you give up and turn left.

I'm not discussing the purposedness of the action, just saying that attempting the corner at that speed and in that position would be suicide. Now, why was he at that speed, in that position? Only him knows.

Mind you, Rosberg ain't a fool himself. If you want to pull the trick you have to make it look genuine. Reversing backwards makes it sure the yellow comes out and his talk about "lost pole" is pure hogwash. It's not like it's his Monaco debut FFS. He knew exactly what he was doing to prevent anyone from going all-in on that last lap.
