Also that's not less unfair, the leader could get caught by it, get caught by second place due to the yellow being lifted, yet second place won't have 3rd on his tail as he would if a SC came out
At least for a Safety car, it's a race stoppage for everyone, not 1/3rd of the field or something.

There's the potential to lose a lot more time under the SC than there is under the slow zones. And surely your scenario is better for the leading car - he's only got one car on his tail rather than the whole pack.

Someone's always going to get screwed over. The only 100% fair way to do it would be to put the whole track under code 60, but then we'd all sit here going 24 HEURES DU DRAPEAU JAUNE

24 HEURES DU CODE SOIXANTE ;)

And I still think it's fairer in my scenario as 2nd place will also be worried about 3rd as much as looking ahead to the leader.
With CODE SOIXANTE the leader could be slowed down, bringing 2nd on his back and the zone is over before 3rd is affected to the gap vanishes between 1st and 2nd with no 3rd place guy around to potentially hassle the guy ahead of him.

People were too optimistic with regards to pole laptime. Still a far cry to even drop 1.20

I don't expect this bad driving to suddenly stops comes Saturday/Sunday. This race will feature many long slow zones periods

Hello from Le Mans.

As a spectator - fuck red flags. Yay for Code 60. If you disagree then you're wrong.

Hello! Its hot here. It has been all week. Even yesterday at midnight it was 18C. Rain apparently expected Sunday morning.

RLM are pretty confident in Audis long run pace and that Porsche will not finish. Should be interesting.

If Toyota don't win then they should consider it a failure. If Audi win its huge. Porsche just wont win lol.

Humidity is huge at the circuit atm. Nice for those turbo cars.

I just won a Le Mans experience with Audi Forum here in Stockholm. I can watch the full race with them in their showroom. I have a seat and free food for the full race, and can keep the seat after the finish.

It is clearly Toyota's race to lose pace-wise.

First lap could be interesting. Porsche didn't get the pole, they wanted it. The photo of the main straight showing the 1st lap leader is probably bigger deal than the pole itself.

I can see Porsche doing the same as the Saleens did in the Spa 24 around 2003-2004 (for those who were around back then): try to get pole and just blast off into the distance as fast as possible, and then see where you end up. Possibly on a flatbed or behind a barrier, but at least you've shown something. I can't see them calmly holding back in 5th or 6th, just to retire anyway.

Audi are going to pressure Toyota with 1 or 2 cars, keeping the other(s) behind a bit more, I think

So fucked up that we started out with 3 GTE-Pro Astons and we end-up with just one starting the race. Don't care about GTE-AM.
