I'm willing to bet that SportsCenter/FOX Sports Live/whatever nightly sports highlights program NBCSN has over there/etc. will run with it faster than your average Kenyan Olympic sprinter. For sure reddit would have to be down for a bit.

Am I right in thinking the ARCA is tape delayed?

Schedule has the race 11am EST on Saturday, but Fox has it listed as 4pm EST, no doubt set to clash with the Nationwide on ESPN2?

I know viewership figures is the be all and end all of life for these channels, but Jesus some of these schedulers must live on another planet sometimes.

My guide (bear in mind I'm in another land) only has it listed at 4pm.

EDIT: Yeah I see now thanks, found another guide that has it listed at 11am live.

Yeah, I remember when they announced it was going back to a morning start-ish… So they have the ARCA race, Nationwide group qualifying, Cup group qualifying, and the Nationwide race. ???!!!

This is what's going on today at Talladega.

It's a Salute to the Alabama Gang. The two cars in the back are Justin Allison's ARCA car and Neil Bonnett's #12 Budweiser car.

The backstretch at Talladega has a new name, which explains why there is a black curtain on the wall in the picture above. The backstretch is now "The Alabama Gang Superstretch."

I guess they felt the need to do that after tearing down the backstretch grandstands. (Allison Grandstands)

Interesting that ARCA will be running on Saturday. I might be able to catch the latter half depending on how long my errands last

Strange to see only 37 entries for the ARCA race.

They're only starting 36, so somebody will go home. Moving the race to Saturday and shortening it by 18 laps wasn't ARCA's idea either....
