Al least the visible things llok the same, but dont know if something has been changed under the bodywork..

Look at the Williams sidepods for one, much skinnier.

This could be a decent race :8:

just kidding

Ehh, it all depends on if Hamilton has the legs on Rosberg as it seems or there's going to be a close fight between them.

Also there's speculation that Red Bull could do an entire pit stop less than Merc, not that it'll matter much with the maximum race pace of the Mercedes (which everyone in the sport doesn't think we've seen yet, even after the SC in Bahrain) but there's a chance the Mercs MIGHT be behind the Red Bulls at some point in the race.
(well, Maybe Danny-ric)

But then predictions on Fridays usually mean shit for Sunday afternoon.
Might rain

But it was in practice!!!! Thats why its a practice session.
I understand for race, but this is really becoming silly with the penalties!!!
Whats next??
Kimi went to toilet 10 min before race start and he will get a drive trough on first lap???
Or if you go a bit wide when on one is infront/behind 30 sec and u get stop and go for that??

Its getting out of control

I think that is completely reasonable. The stink from Kimi's toilet visit is a comparable danger to being hit by a loose wheel in the head.

The argument also extends to:

"It was only practice, they didn't need to rush the tyre change like there was anything depending on it and risk all those things Scotty said for no reason"

Less pressure should equal more safety, not less.

"Duty if care" for F1 teams? You mean the very people who put human beings onboard metal boxes and hurl them at 300km/h, a few meters away from hundreds of people? I should try reading that again after a handful of vodka shots.

You set foot on a racetrack, no matter your position, you risk being hurt because of someone else's fuck-up.

I'm not talking deliberate breaches, driving lunacy, on-track disrespect, criminal negligence... Those should be penalized, as they have always been throughout history.

I'm talking about honest mistakes. It seems F1 has more and more issues to deal with that reality of motorsport, and it saddens me to see fans slowly agreeing to that position.

"Duty of Care" was something invented by Lawyers to justify suing people for liability even if the third party had signed away their rights, it's an unavoidable part of life now which can't be ignored because some cloth eared Judge allowed it into Case Law, if you can prove you've taken all reasonable steps to ensure you've provided it, then you're ok, if you can't you're liable - regardless of any written terms and conditions a person agreed with.

As much as we may dislike it, it's not something we cannot ignore (and a great excuse for making your landlord clear wasp and bees nests without paying for it yourself).

Totally unrelated, but you ain't gonna get away from it now.

Sky saying there's talk in the Italian media that Adrian Newey could be on his way to Ferrari. Ross Brawn also visited the Ferrari factory recently.

They also said this morning that Gene Haas will be going to the Lotus factory next week, Perhaps looking at buying Lotus rather than starting a new team from scratch.
