This week NASCAR heads to the paper clip in southern Virginia, Martinsville!

Will we see drama and tempers flaring? Maybe.

Will we see a Cup driver ruin the truck race? NO! Neither Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick or Brad Keselowski are entered. 8)

Will we all wish we were there to consume all the world famous Martinsville hot dogs and baloney burgers we could consume? Absolutely!

Here are the entry lists:

Truck:
http://www.jayski.com/news/campingworld ... ille-entry

Cup:
http://www.jayski.com/news/stats/2014/s ... Entry-List

edit: Instead of Baloney Burgers, I should have put Grandfather Clocks. Even though Martinsville sells Baloney Burgers, they're more famous for the clocks and hot dogs.

No Cup drivers in a companion race?? Well this will be amazing. Seriously don't care who wins, it'll be a rare treat.

Yup. Thankfully this is one of those races where Erik Jones drives the #51 truck.

Yay trucks! And we only have to wait a whole month after this to watch them again!

I count at least 7 drivers on the truck entry list making their debuts. I had to do a search to find out who Raymond Terczak Jr. was. It looks like he's a late model driver from Virginia who has competed in the Virginia is for Lovers 300 late model race at Martinsville in the past.

I don't think he's ever ran at Lonesome Pine, but then again, Lonesome Pine just got their NASCAR license back this year.

Which might explain why the Truck picks in the Pick 'Ems thread will have a host of who's whos this week.

Ray Terczak used to be a regular competitor in the Late Model Stock Car division at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas, VA before the track closed following the 2012 season. He continued to race Late Model Stock Cars around VA and NC in 2013, more notably at Southern National Motorsports Park and Shenandoah Speedway. He made one trip to Langley Speedway last year but did not race after crashing his car in practice.

Do what they did for the Mods a few years ago: Haul in some temporary lighting, and if it clears up by sundown, run it at night.

I was recently tipped off that the old TBK forum is exactly as it was when it died almost 6 years ago. After browsing though, there were so many "-Matt" posts, it was fantastic. What a trip down memory lane! haha

Did they get rid of the grass and put just fake green stuff in it's place?

I think one night race a year at Martinsville would be fun. Not both, but one.
