That sucks to hear about Dave Blaney, but that is the risk you take when you only bring one car to race weekend, especially at places like Daytona and Dega.

I was hoping Penske would help him out since his son drives for them.

I like how the woman in the 5th photo couldn't look any less interested.

Just as a heads up, those are from the shutter of TBK member Covy Moore (nascarmaniac).

In that second photo, you see a kid with a yellow-orange-ish shirt. If you watch one of the angles from the video, he is the prime example of why there's a line you're supposed to stay behind (down by the fence). Close call for that kid!

That sucks. :( Glad everyone was okay.

Really excited about the Duels though, due to the later start time I'm actually be able to watch them live this year. :D

Kenny Wallace can provide good input from a driver's perspective but good grief is he bad when commentating in the moment. He barely even uses words; just sort of lets sounds jump out of his face. :p

It kind of reminds me of the nationwide race a few years ago at Daytona (2010?) when they cut out of a commercial break to a big wreck and Andy Petree (I think) was making a bunch of similar sounds. :D

The one like that I remember is the raw feed footage of Keselowski's Nationwide wreck at Fontana in '07. Petree sounded slightly panicked before the broke out of the commercial break.

The epitome of "making strange sounds in the moment" has to be Carlton Kirby et al. right before and during Davidson's crash at Le Mans:

Bad quality, but can't find better.
