Well that was weird finish for sure. Hope everyone is okay in that turn 1 crash, a stretcher was just taken out of the ambulance at the crash scene

Nice to see MSR get lucky and get a P2. Wish the BOP was more equal between the P2's and DP's. Also hope that IMSA makes a sprint series for the DP's when the new regulations come in in 2017.

Yeah worried about that crash. It's not like they'd not have cameras pointing at the start finish line for the end of the race so the fact they've not replayed it doesn't bode well :x

Got a replay of the Aston hitting the truck, but still absolutely no explanation for the front stretch debris or any of the other cars involved.

It looked to me like that might have been Davison's debris..His car looked crashed before it was riding against the wall.

So I guess the Porsche that came in after was involved in the crash at the start finish line.

Seems the safety truck came out thinking it was safe to do so because the race was over. But people were still racing to the line, on slicks with a suddenly wet track.

There seem to be three people all in a pile on the tyres while the two last cars were piling in, wonder if they got injuries jumping out the way.

I'm watching it back now. The 58 was already in the wall with a couple laps left. It looked like that was still the only car in the wall when they showed the 23 Posrche car finishing the race and then sliding into the wall from his onboard (the frontstretch was still clear at that point). The Aston either went into the wall either just before or just after the 23 Porsche. In either case, the 58, 007, and 23 were all in the tires before those last two cars came in together.

You could see a couple people scrambling up onto the tires in the shot of the last two cars piling in, and one of them did look like he had fire-fighting gear on.

Which car was Heylen driving?

Heylen I think was driving the 58 Porsche that had been sitting against the wall for 2 laps
