actually I consider off season as "vacation" from F1, which means that the races are suffering for me

nonetheless, I'm not a real fan :p

but seriously, is getting harder to stay awake to watch asian races, and I still find a 16-race season more pleasing, if most races starts 09:00AM in my time zone

Can anybody get me the pre-qual times from all 2004 races ? I tried F1.com, but all pre-qual tables state that "Results for this session are not yet available." Sucks lol. Thanks guys

Real fans have them memorised and don't need no poxy websites to give them the information on results from decades ago.

Terribl fan tbh.

So bad I'm not going to tell you the info you require.

I could, because all REAL FANS can, but I'm just withholding it now cos REAL FANS don't have to ask.

Now don't try and ask me again to prove this in the future. REAL FANS don't need to prove shit.

Hey, here's an idea, lets add "real fans" to the word filter :p

I loved that car even more with the Arrows team's strategy back then (especially with Verstappen): start mid-pack with low fuel, go medieval on the top 6 early in the race.

Verstappen was a very entertaining driver to watch! He had some amazing races back in 2000, specially Montreal, Monza and Nürburgring, even though he crashed at Nürburgring and lost the chance to score points there!

don't forget the fact that the boss ran his cars with zero downforce, specially at Montreal and Hockenheim

me neither, but that's not my definition of a real fan. At it's essence, I consider a real fan someone who dedicates some time of his life to follow the sport regardless of any "fanboy" motivations such as people who only follows when there is a country mate fighting for wins/WDCs and etc.

what an inaccurate claim, sorry.

having possibly recorded(I don't remember exactly) the highest speed ever in a F1 car is not the same as what you claimed. Assuming that was your point with this, albeit I think Pizzonia recorded an even higher speed during a testing...

Plus, this fetish for fastest speed ever has never been a thing for me. I care much more about fast cornering and accelerations rather than top speed

Er, no, it is the fastest lap ever set in a Formula 1 car.

Yes Pizzonia recorded 369kmh in Monza, but i think the fastest lap ever is from Montoya 2002 Monza, or maybe im wrong?
The lap is on darcyf1

The highest speed ever recorded in an F1 car was set by Alan van der Merwe at Bonneville.

2004 was faster than 2002.

Barrichello took pole with a laptime about 0.2 sec faster than Montoya's 2002 pole lap.

But Montoya was faster in the first part of qlf that year, with a lap about half a sec. quicker than the pole. If I remember well, in Qlf part 1 the cars lapped very light on fuel, while on part 2 they had to fuel for the race, Parc Fermé rules and shit.

That was on a salt flat in car without a rear wing. Not exactly a full official record.
