Juncadella joins Force India as a test-driver. No surprise there as they announced Astana as a sponsor.

What about Diageo? Can't see Johnny Walker on the car

Johnnie Walker is still a sponsor. I think it's only Vodafone that's left.

We need this back, minus the red.

Please no, ugly shape and livery. Keep it well away from f1,in my opinion.
The current McLaren is much prettier than this.

So it complies with the rules.

I was just about to say that maybe it's the perspective [of the first official picture] that makes it look assymmetric, but HOLY SHIT! THAT IS ASSYMMETRIC! 8O

Makes you wonder what other teams will come up with.

At least the FW26 looked nice (IMO).

As does the McLaren, as does the side-profile of the Force India. The Lotus looks unique but I was a fan of the walrus-nosed Williams of 2004 so I can get used to it.

Compared to some of the horrendous stuff we've seen over the years with large numbers of flick ups and over-sculpting of elements, these cars don't look too bad so far.

Mercedes ran 100km in the W05 at Silverstone today without any major issues. STR also had a shakedown at Misano.

That Lotus could have been a cool looking car if a symmetric version of it were legal. I actually like the way both the top and bottom of the nosecone have smooth contours unlike the true "finger" noses. The need for that asymmetry to exploit a loophole in the rules is too ridiculous for words though, ruins it for me.

I actually prefer these cars to the flick up monstrosities of the 00's. I just wish the rear wings could be wider, and the front wings a little less weird. I seem to be in the minority but I really like the Mclaren.

Some more about that Lotus nose -

autosport.com wrote:
AUTOSPORT has learned that the aggressive 'twin tusk' arrangement caused problems for the team in completing crash testing.

In order to meet the single lower nose tip regulation, the two tusks are of unequal length, so the longer one forms the mandatory nose tip, while the other is short enough to avoid being considered part of the nose tip by the regulations. This leaves each tusk to act as a crash structure.
