I cannot believe that Todt said that he wouldn't be able to drive F1 again, that is really nonsense, even without the accident he wouldn't be returning.
Some reporter must have asked that...
Well, I cannot see what Michael's future will be like. By the looks of now, we will probably never see a photo of him again and never hear any words from his mouth again.
I just hope that one day he can be living a normal life and seeing his Mercedes team win in F1.
He has done so much for F1, especially for Germany, he is a great person for his family and I think that no-one wants Michael to live that way he probably does now.

I don't think he mentioned it as in returning to F1 but as in driving an F1 car for the purpose of a demonstration as many other old F1 stars sometimes do.

tbh until I see Michael again I am not sure if he is still alive, all this secret, no one has really really see him, Do you believe 100% what his wife or todt say? I don't. I wish I did, but I don't. there is something really weird.

Until I see the oxygen we 'breathe', I'm not convinced it is even there.

I have more home for MS leading a relatively normal life than Jules Bianchi..
Read a report of his injuries and had a chat with someone close to it all..
It's not good at all...

That he is being tended to at home, and that he is making 'some progress'. That's pretty much the official line, and about what can be expected. I strongly suspect Todt's F1 drive comment may have been made with a sense of sad irony.

Serious question. Are you David Icke?

My personal feeling is that his level of communication is similar to what was announced a few months ago i.e. acknowledgement with his eyes and finger movements. Perhaps he is doing that more regularly now which they are referring to as progress. I don't imagine that he is talking or walking yet, because that would be a major development rather than just progress.

He can't be Icke, if he was he'd be accusing an Illuminati lizard agent of planting the rock in that specific place.

I think this is probably very close to the truth. Progress from this level of interaction is always likely to be slow, but it could be that he is simply conscious and aware of his surroundings more often.

One of our famous and reliable journalists in France, Jean-Louis Moncet, has been interviewed this morning on Europe1 radio and has confirmed that it was not the fall that hurt Michael Schumacher but the GoPro system which was set on his helmet that hurt his brain (I dont know how he did not give more details). He said also that Michael is waking up slowly

Moncet is very respectable but not always reliable... When you say he "confirmed", does that mean it was an actual explanation for his injury? It's the first time I hear of this. Given that the reason for his injuries was the brain banging inside cranium, I am sceptical that the camera would play any part into it.

Here is the link (in french). I found it bit weird too but he said he talked with Schumacher's son recently. It was not the camera itself but the system to attach the camera to the helmet. Anyway you are right, it would be better if some official sources would be able to confirm this version. I am like you, it is the first time I heard it.

Having a GoPro I really wonder how the attachment would result in this injury.

Default it's mounted like this:

I don't understand that either. I thought it was generally accepted that his injury was caused by the impact with the rock - if anything, putting a crushable object in the way would lessen the effect!

All that aside, The Independent in the UK has reported that he could be expected to live a "relatively normal" life given time. Is this still misquoting the Todt interview?

well, the attack of the gopro basically convey all the energy in one specific point of the helmet, so if you're as much unlucky as to hit on the ground right where the gopro is mounted you have something like a piercing object acting on it. Same amount of force involved, less surface on wich to apply it resulting in higher pressure ( wich could lead to the helmet breaking or to a higher blunt hit on your head inside it ). it's the only explanation i can come up with honestly
