He lost control under braking at Bus Stop, car pitched sideways, hit the sausage kerb, flew into the air probably 6-8ft (easily would clear a car), rolled into the run-off, then smashed into the tyres as the car caught fire.

I guess it's one way to prevent t bone accidents with out of control cars at the bus stop, just launch them 5 ft over the tops of cars and let them have their own accident in the run off...

Also maybe we've been wrong about tarmac runoff this whole time, it's not so much a runoff as a landing strip :p
