If there is any justice on this planet, John Barnes will interface with a truck grille before the week is out.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Or Jack Vilnev (Paul Page says it like that).

Sam Posey always said Jock.

Anyway, this is cool to see.

Aside from the Newhouse tinsel, here is some long-term good news for IndyCar.

Nameplate Wanted sign sitting out front of the Cosworth HQ. They have had a preliminary engine design since the new regs. where announced. Considering the link to Lotus before they probably thought they would get the nod from them.

Now we just need Paul Tracy. :D

If they made the proposed "Garage 34" support a car with entirely hand controls, I'd be all for it.

Then you'd get another favourite CART driver in the 500 too...

You know the more I think about this "Garage 34" entry for the 500 the more I believe that it would be to allow Zanardi to enter. I cannot imagine Indycar would allow an entry that doesn't conform to the standard aerodynamics or powertrain package, as either could mean the car being much faster or much slower than the rest of the field. So the other options to me are:

- Building a car with hand controls for Zanardi
- Creating a hybrid power-unit (hybrid in the pit lane and under SC conditions, standard engine elsewhere)

Please let it be the former.
