So every race that has a standing start.

Now that I think about it, Long Beach does have that problem with restart line-ups with that hairpin turn.

IndyCar has started thinking about the possibility of introducing a "Garage 34" entry for the 500, saved for innovative racers, much like the "Garage 56" entry at LeMans.

Let me geuss, under innovative they mean 'deltawing'...

I'd say DW12 with hybrid technology.

I think there's plenty of opportunity there. Would be nice to see a DW12 with a powertrain similar to something like the P1.

In all seriousness however, no, fuck off. If you have the capacity to run an extra car, then give it to an entry which attempted to qualify for the race in a legitimate manner, rather than giving it away to whoever can tape electric motors to the most ridiculous looking cars that they can come up with.

Mercedes should tune their power unit to race at indy (to a more reliable and ethanol compression), pick it up a talented oval racer and try to make it with easy just like 1994
