He's probably got the most charisma out of all the drivers.

Gotta say that i really like this dude. He is a good lad outside the track and pretty charming.
And on track, he just gives two fucks about what team orders say and just does his thing.

Nothing to do with being german, i just like him.

Totally agree.
It would be great to have 4 more drivers like Vettel in F1, with the same car ofcourse... ;)

Yeah, nothing wrong with Vettel.
You can put the blame for "boring" races on Vettel, but you could just as much blame all the drivers that aren't capable to follow him.

You can show me vids of him doing jokes or anything else you want. I still thinking he is a boring driver.

I saw Schumacher win his 7 championships. I hated him but I never thought he was boring nevertheless. But Vettel... god.

Ok, but we're talking about whether Vettel is boring or not.

What do you mean by boring? Because hes not on every party like Lewis, or tells about his private life??
Or on track? Well on track its looking like hes driving on rail roads... not even a slide...
Anyway its over, just today and next year it will be different

It's hard to put into words how some of us people despairing at Vettel's awesomeness feel. Let me try anyway.

I used to like Vettel, but then he started being all good and unbeatable and now I don't like him at all. There is absolutely no logical reason for this.

I don't like Vettel because he is showing a level of domination that is making me irrationally yearn for the time when "every race is won by a different person"; when the fuck does that ever actually happen, apart from that ONE time? Generally speaking the person who wins the championship is the person who wins the most!

I get pissed off that Vettel rarely puts a wheel even 2 or 3cm out of line, because he's that good, and as a result finds it easy to whack in laps which are 1 second faster than everyone, or finds it easy to pull out a 18 second lead in 9 laps so he can pit and come out in 2nd place and then overtake on track the person who's inherited 1st place after he went into the pits.

Vettel is simply awesome, and whilst I would love to see him having to do a stonking drive from 9th or 14th on the grid after a messed up qualifying session, just to "confirm that he can still race", I know that he can race pretty fucking well because he never ever has to do this and often wins by huge margins.

I don't watch F1 for purist reasons; I'm not here to see the very best drivers in the very best machines thrash everyone else, and I cannot respond to complainers by saying "well you should be wishing for the other teams to catch up".

Partly this is because Red Bull has a bottomless pit of money to throw at their F1 team, and other teams may not, however the main reason I cannot chastise complainers that way is because, possibly like me, they simply tune into F1 for entertainment, and Vettel's domination doesn't provide entertainment (although can you please not point out to me the many awesome races for 2nd / 3rd / 4th place there have been? K THX!).

I am also going to blame Vettel for the fact that the tyre provider has blue ballsed it after one race where their tyres happened to explode, and have since provided dull, predictable tyres that have happened to favour Red Bull, but only because Red Bull are that good that they adapt to new situations faster than everyone else.

But I'll still blame Vettel. Fuck it. I'm going to blame one of the most charismatic, talented drivers that we're likely to ever see for all of these issues rather than address them like a normally functioning human being, because it makes me feel slightly better, and for absolutely no other reason that can be rationally justified.

I don't expect anyone to respond or analyse my opinion in any way whatsoever, as I'm fully aware that the above makes no sense and generally makes me look like a grumpy and bitter child stamping his foot.

But I don't care! *a million evil smilies* (I really do care *a million crying smilies*).

Signed...someone who should probably stick to watching the BTCC.

Oh yeah, all of that said, if I ever got the chance to meet him, or ever randomly bumped into him, I'd likely faint or act like a simpering star-struck school-girl, because he's SEBASTIAN VETTEL and he's really awesome, you know.

WOO CONSISTENCY!
