The real question is, Andre, did you change your password prior to Homestead? If not, you're to blame. :p

I agree, but I feel like we are in the minority. She is awful.

Maybe but she has great tits! :D

^^^ That... and she just anunciates words funny.. She emphasizes the wrong parts of the word to make it sound dramatic or whatever. It's just annoying to listen to.

Yeah. To quote Derek Zoolander, she is really, really, really, ridiculously good-looking. I get what Hotdogger's saying though - it does kinda sound like her nose is plugged, or something... like she has a cold or something. haha

Anything with ample cleavage, I normally don't find my eyes looking at her face.

Also, Jimmie wasn't setting the world on fire either with his stock car racing exploits. I think them both having the equipment at Hendrick at their disposal is what really has propelled them. Working well together is obvious, but I doubt they would be putting up these numbers if they were both employed at say, Petty Enterprises. There are lots of drivers/crewchiefs that are very talented out there, but unless they get amazing equipment, they can't really show their true colors. Chad and Jimmie are making the most of a great situation. Smokey Yunick once said that there are 100 Tony Stewarts out there, it's just that 99 percent of them NEVER get the chance. Jeff could of picked a number of drivers from the then Busch Series to drive the 48, the majority of them having greater resume's than Jimmie. So it begs to question, exactly what did Jeff and Rick Hendrick see in Jimmie Johnson from a driving standpoint? I'm not knocking Jimmie's driving ability, but going from a strictly raw driving talent, he would not be at the top of a lot of peoples lists.

I don't think anyone in the future will top the success that Johnson and Knaus have accomplished together, yet you never know.

Richard Petty & Dale Inman, Darrell Waltrip & Jeff Hammond, and Jeff Gordon & Ray Evernham should be mentioned in the same sentence as JJ & CK, but those tandems didn't win six titles in an eight-year span.

I know that this is a kind of tired argument, but they also didn't have a playoff system consisting almost entirely of tracks that they were strong at.

As much as I dislike the Chase, I don't think it's fair to hold that against the 48 team in any way. The fact of the matter is that everyone knows the schedule and rules they're playing by, so the system doesn't favor anyone unjustly. It's nothing near as compelling and satisfying as a non-playoff system, but it still rewards the team that executes the best at the right times.

Every team tries the same strategy of saving those last 10 races with the best cars and setups of the season.
Jimmie and his team just happen to do it best, and he has been capable in past seasons of devoting himself to all 36 races.

Get rid of the Chase and you will see no decrease in the amount of races he wins.

Johnson and Knaus are the best at playing the game throughout the year. They win a few in the first half to lock in, then have "bad luck" from Pocono #2 to Richmond, then all of a sudden turn it on.

Lost in this mix, this was actually a solid race.

Any driver as talented and experienced as Jeff probably can tell from certain aspects of what a driver is doing whether he has the right stuff or not. Maybe he recognized from the way Jimmie drove his Nationwide car that he would be better in a Cup car. Obviously he didn't fathom just how much better or he'd never have hired him!

Indeed. Three solid races, IMO. I love it when a racing surface gets character after 10 years or so. Texas is the same way (paved in '02, I believe), but the race was still crap... I think that one had more to do with aero and tires, unfortunately.

I can only hope that Daytona ages the same way it did from '79 to 2010!

Decent racing this year. Sure there is still work to be done, but I have to give NASCAR credit where its due. It has been rather interesting and filled with drama and controversy at times. I enjoyed this years season
