The final 3 races of the season are all triple header weekends with the first at the not-so-exciting Texas Motor Speedway.

Trucks is pretty much Matt Crafton's to lose now, after Dillion lost points at Martinsville.

Nationwide is between Dillion and Hornish, however it will likely be the #22 or #54 once again winning the races.

Cup is far from over, with Kenseth and Johnson dead level with 3 to go. The 1.5's have been Gibbs dominated this year, so Kenseth will look to get max points and put the pressure on.

I would gladly swap Texas for this place, which Bill Elliot took his last win almost 10 years ago.

A lot of teams tested at Texas last week. Kenseth crashed his car after blowing a RF tire fairly early on in a run, but that wasn't going to be his primary car for the weekend.

Kryle rape fest for sure in Trucks and Nationwide...Hopefully Cup might be decent. Last three races have had decent winners.

If Johnson and Kenseth have issues, and Gordon does well, we'll have a pretty fun last two races.

I can't see both of them having problems and Gordon not having one. This is Kenseth vs. Johnson imo

It's been that since the chase started.

Or even: it's been that since they scored up enough wins in the early summer to ensure themselves a chase spot.

I don't think there's been more than 3 drivers with a legitimate shot at the title going into Homestead since implementing the Chase.

Hamlin, Johnson, and Harvick were all fairly close in 2010.

I think 2004 may be the only year.

    1 Kurt Busch 6346
    2 Jimmie Johnson 6328 -18
    3 Jeff Gordon 6325 -21
    4 Dale Earnhardt, Jr. 6274 -72
    5 Mark Martin 6264 -82

I kind of saw that Kenseth vs. Johnson battle coming since Las Vegas. They've separated themselves in terms of laps led compared to the rest of the field since then.
