I'm sure you've seen it, but Red Bull posted this image:

Oh please you really can't compare Minardi and STR,if you remeber 2008,Bourdas was on P3 on the start for Monza and his car shut down.
Everyone seems to forget some things. But really,he deserved titles, even he makes it a bit boring,he is in the best car and driving it great and without mistakes. But the weird thing is,he now passed Senna with the number of titles,is he really that good? He prooved himself, but which year did he won a title with a car that is not fastest,2010 Ferrari was level for one part of season,2012 Mclaren was faster the 2nd part of the season but Hamilton lost all his chances already.

Anything High-Res shots of him celebrating on the front straight; could be the donuts, him on the car or even on the fence...

Shame it happened in India really. That would have been amazing on the front straight at Interlagos.

They probably would've found some reason to boo him too. I'm glad it happened in India. At least the fans there were gracious enough to give him the deserved appreciation & cheers.

I hate how corporate F1 has become.

Racing between team mates seems to be such a shocking thing these days.

Ok, you never want them to Coulthard the situation but the way fans react now to "OMG HOW DARE THEY EVEN TRY TO RUN SIDE BY SIDE" is the norm, when it wasn't always so.

I know this isn't the best example to pick on as Kimi's tyres were shot and he was just in the way but it's happened a lot with the Mclarens and Mercedes as well this year too, as if the Red Bull/Ferrari approach of 1 strong car and 1 support driver is the ONLY way to go about things.

It wasn't always this way....

I totally support racing between team mates like we saw between the McLarens in Bahrain and Monaco (and I think Button was wrong to complain in those situations, he simply got passed and then wanted to moan about it) where they are racing on track, on comparable strategies and one driver wants to go faster. The Lotus situation on Sunday was different, as you say.

Also, maybe Kimi does feel Lotus is now behind Grosjean, but I'm not sure what he expects - them to focus on a man whose title chances were slim at best, and is leaving next year for a bigger pay cheque; or to focus on the man who will likely be team-leader next year and developing the car with the guys during the winter while Kimi is on gardening leave/holiday.

Ahem, Kimi is not leaving for a bigger paycheck. He's leaving because he want's to be in a big team for 2014 and able to fight for the title. And for A paycheck.

It's obvious that Lotus is putting their eggs now on Romain's bag and it makes sense. The team has huge financial issues, they still don't have a title sponsor, the most interesting driver in F1 is leaving them (try to get more money from the sponsors with that in mind), they've lost lots of talented engineers and they're likely to fall back since the lack of money to develop 2014 car as much as the big powerhouses can. I think Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull are the top four teams next year, while Lotus is competing against Sauber, Force India and Williams-Mercedes. They still have a chance to get podiums and they want Romain to get them - for their own good.

Last year Lewis Hamilton had similar issues with McLaren after his announcement of departure. Not as visible, but he wasn't getting all the data during the weekends that he was used to, he wasn't invited to all the meetings anymore and he felt he was put on an outer circle. McLaren was just more civilized about it than what Lotus has been since the day one.

so...which year (2011,2012,2013) featured the "best" Indian GP? I never watched any of them.

But going from what I know...it would be 2011 for this moment:

Just sounds like an angry Kimi fan to me.

Man swears at racing driver. Racing driver swears back.

It wasn't ideal but it's not the end of the world. A bit of a storm in a teacup really.

There's a huge difference of what lotus is doing compared to what McLaren did last year and that article really tells the story behind the swearing.

I don't expect things to get any better for the remaining three races. lotus will try to play their game until the very end, probably losing the constructors 2nd place in the run.

It makes sense to give the backing now to Romain to attract sponsors & show that he can lead the team in 2014. But I don't think that means they're sabotaging Kimi at all. Kimi's problems recently have been that he can't get the feel from the modified front tyres so he's put on the back foot after qualifying.
