But I'd say cars from the past had more elements that let you to mistakes, it was difficult, there's no doubt about it.

Vettel is so good because he doesn't commit mistakes in a modern F1 car, that's all. Congratulations though!

I enjoyed the race.

On the bright side, there are only three Vettel runaway victories to go before the season ends! :)

What an era for Germany in F1.....when it finishes, they'll probably spend like 2 centuries without F1 titles maybe :D :p

Vettel - 322 points
Mercedes - 313 points

Vettel has enough points to lead the constructors championship.

The logic in F1 is that the past was always harder and better, the present is rubbish and the future is scary and unknown.

You win in the way you have to win. Was it harder in the past? That's debatable. It was different. Vettel is a phenomenally talented driver who is one of the legends of the sport. Can we just enjoy that rather than comparing him to the other greats or trying to rubbish his achievements through petty comments?

Crowd actually seemed fairly decent compared to the first couple of years.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Agreed. Nobody has to like Vettel, but the case for doubting his place amongst the greats of this sport disappeared long ago.

Strongly disagree. Would Vettel get 90 wins and 7 WCs? Or will he get it in the next years? I don't think so. Wait till Red Bull car starts to fail.

About damn time for a new era to begin, 2014 I'm waiting for ya!

But when the Ferrari was failing, Schumacher didn't win either. It took Schumacher and Ferrari years to get the team to the point they could win.

Schumachers talent wasn't particularly as a driver. He was amazing, and an all time great, but in terms of raw skill in normal circumstances, Schumacher wasn't great under pressure, wasn't a great qualifier. He was exceptional in the wet, very very Senna like. But his real talent was building a team around him and having them operate as a unit better than anyone on the grid. It took years to get there, but once they did they were unstoppable. In terms of raw skill, I place Vettel above Schumacher considerably. In terms of the things like building a team, which is something you don't often thing about, Schumacher is so good that nobody is even remotely close to him.

Grosjean was lucky to finish, he had the Singapore issue again. Hence why he was short shifting at the end.
