Will Power winning on an oval thats the final race of the year

Dixon wins the championship, Chevrolet wins manufacturer's championship.

When Will Power is not a championship contender, he wins the final race.

Season finale at its best, even without a proper battle for the win on the last restart.

Well done, Scott!

It was a very good season for the most part.

I think I need to change my avatar soon, now that Will Power has redeemed himself one year later. :p

or not...since he still hasn't won a championship yet

Bloody enjoyed that race, so rare to see a race with such high attrition and as a Dixon fan, cool to see him win again... not that I have anything against Helio... infact I like the guy and he showed true class after the race

Just got back from the track. Yeah, I'll echo everyone here, what a race, despite the attrition. There are periods of long green-flag racing, there are periods of back-to-back cautions...it almost looked like no one wants to win. Nice drives for everyone out there (tho, most of them are out of the race...it was one of those days--the fact that it was a full moon didn't help matters, either), especially for Hinch, who came from two laps down to finish in the top-5. Simona used the attrition to get a good finishing position. I will say that Helio's runs in Houston was the main reason why he didn't win. He did everything he could, but he slowed down on the third-to-last restart due to a cut tire and was lapped. Dixon was better overall.

If I said that Fontana will produce the best NASCAR race of the season and the best IndyCar race of the season, you would mock me and wonder what kind of drugs did I take. Even tho I will probably never attend a NASCAR event there, Fontana definitely produced the best races of 2013. That being said, the facility still sucks. And don't get me started on post-race traffic.
