Seems to be starting about a week earlier this year, but then a whole month between round 1 and 2....

Please start work on a BTCC winter series to keep the fire burning, Mr Gow!

Honda and Neal are confirmed to return in 2014. Shedden should be confirmed in a month or two.

(btw, we are already at 3 cars for next year!)

I assume that MG/888 will be back next year with Plato and Tordoff - if WSR can keep Turkington then it'd be brilliant to have all five champions in the field.

Well, it is looking likely that these drivers will stay with their respective teams:

Shedden -Dynamics
Plato/Tordoff- 888
Turks/Collard - WSR
Austin - RAR
Welch - Welch Motorsport
Jackson/TOC/Smith- Motorbase
Newhsam - Speedworks

I'm also expecting quite a few new faces...........

Also, Dynamics will be 'building new cars' for 2014 and selling off their Civics meaning that there are at least 2 Civics in circulation. Interestingly, it is possible the 'new cars' aren't Civics and may be something else.

Renaults? Mercedes?

OMG OMG OMG

PLEASE BE VOLVOs!

Still would be interesting for them to run something else considering they've been with Honda so long that they feel like they're the default settings on a computer game for them.

Is YUASA tied to Honda or would that sponsor come with them too?

Unsure on the MG front but I think the Tesco Momentum deal was only a two year thing?

How many different types of Civic is their in the UK range? Why would they move to a different model when the current floor plan has been so utterly ideal for the BTCC for the past few seasons?
