Besides, it is a different skill set.
It's one thing to qualify on pole, win the first 2 races from the front. Great, well done, fast driver.
But can you RACE?

BTCC is fun. That'll do for me.

I don't see any problem with the way the BTCC does it. It's a national series, not a po-faced global WEC-alike, nor would I want it to be.

When I want to watch professional teams and series, I watch F1, Blancpain Enduro and WEC (and hopefully TUSCR eventually) . If I want a bit of fun racing and bumping and don't mind gimmicks then I watch the BTCC, Indycar and Aussie V8s.

If I want to fall asleep or slip into a deep depression then I watch the WTCC or DTM. Every mood is catered for!

29 cars will be in the support race for the Classic SuperTourers at Oulton.

There are also a couple of things starting to float about for 2015, but I shall leave it at that for now.

For anyone interested, TSL Timing have recently started updating their site with results dating back to 2002 - previously it only went back to 2006. This includes BTCC, BSB and club results, among others. They have an archive as far back as 2000 but I don't know if that will ever become available.
