The tour makes its annual fall pilgrimage to Bruton Smith's speed palace, and predictably, Jimmie Johnson is closing the gap on Matt Kenseth in the championship. And Rowdy's poor performance has given last week's winner Kevin Harvick a chance to make a challenge in the title race. Will Saturday night's race be a competitive slobberknocker? A massive snoozer? A competitive slobberknocker rendered moot by another groan-worthy Jimmie Johnson victory?

Who knows? Course, there's one thing we all know....
Spoiler:
Next week.

DEGA.

Fuck yeah.

Be ready for lots of pink cars, and not being able to tell who is who.

Password curse target since before Dover was Kyle Busch. It didn't really work for Dover, but Kansas made up for it.

I'mma keep it to 18 for another couple weeks. :)

Curse the 48 for the love of god. I'd much rather have Harvick or Kenseth win. I'm predicting a boring race with a fuel mileage finish. With the chase set up as it is nothing happens the first half of the chase with everyone driving safe.

Wasting time cursing the 18 when he chokes away the chase all on his own.

The fuck are you thinking? Curse Johnson!

Johnson might be immune to curses, I fear.

Forget curses, Jimmie seems like the kind of driver who'd probably be immune to a Final Destination-style mega disaster.

Like, I dunno, the BrutonTron collapsing onto the track or some shit.

And with Kasey Kahne's luck this year he'll probably get it full whack.

True dat. I just can't help but find it hilarious when bad stuff happens to a "cursed" driver. I mean, yeah, broken back\broken legs aren't funny, but the fact that I changed my password the week before these happened is quite something. Kinda. Ironic. Coincidental. Dunno which one.

That being said, I don't actually believe it's a curse. It's all in good fun. ;)

A ruse, get it into his mind that he's cursed and the rest will work itself out.

The 150-lap Whelen Southern Modified Tour race from Charlotte will be video-streamed live on the NASCAR Home Tracks website at approx. 8:20pm ET.

Soooo Kvapil's racing in the 93 this weekend after all. Somewhat surprised, but I suppose we don't know the details like they do.

Kyle Busch will be happy about someone else being booed louder than him, for once.

150 laps around the 1/4 mile track.
