Is it just me, or has the number of penalties increased dramatically over the last couple of years. I can't recall there being so many penalties in all my time watching F1. Seems there is not a GP that goes by without some sort of penalty, where as even during the mid to late 90s I can't recall there being so many.

There were far more in 2008.

IIRC French GP in 2002 pulled a trigger of multi chastisements with those "white line" drive through penalties. 4 or 5 drivers were overlaid with fine. Or were you speaking about the drivers behavior on track and that kind of stuff?

I must remind you all of The Webber Start I posted about a few months ago, and the order after T1 will be Vettel by 5 seconds, followed by a massive gap caused by Grosjean remembering he is only known for crashing and taking out the next 7 cars, and then for some reason Maldonado will be there.

Any news on Vettel's KERS system? By the way, is it allowed to make changes to the KERS system after the qualifying?

They have changed the entire KERS system on Vettel's car.

Given the later than normal 3pm start time they took there time to ensure everything was done properly.

Then are allowed to make changes after qualifying providing they can show that whatever part they want to change is damaged.

"Race over", "Needs SC", "SC plz", "Kimi pits", "Maldonado crashes", "Vettel wins".
There. Now I don't have to say these during the race.

I hope you don't mean that Kimi needs to retire before his first pit stop.

Maybe the order should be: "Needs SC" -> "Maldonado crashes" -> "SC plz" -> "Kimi pits" -> "Vettel wins" -> "Race over". ;)
Let's see how it goes.
