Its Labor Day weekend which means its Darlington time. Oh wait, they killed that and now its Atlanta, which is equally as good. Cup and Nationwide make their once annual appearance at the tyre eating track.

Trucks decided to take the track off the schedule and replaced it with the Canadian Tyre Motorsports Park. Will be an interesting race there.

Entry Lists:

Cup (44): http://www.jayski.com/news/stats/2013/s ... Entry-List

NNS (42): http://www.jayski.com/news/nationwide/2 ... Entry-List

Trucks (30 only): http://www.jayski.com/news/campingworld ... ctmp-entry

Truck entry list is kinda underwhelming.

Once again, NASCAR finds another way to swindle Canadian racefans again.

I'm surprised Ron isn't among the fellows on the entry list.

Hopefully the gen6 car makes this race awesome.

This race has always been awesome anyway due to the massive tyre falloff.

I have a feeling it'll be great racing like Fontana with some LOL's like Charlotte.

I was expecting Fellows, Ranger, Tags, Villeneuve and Carpentier. But, no ringers at all. :(

Apparently this is the race Goodyear is testing a new right side tire.

ARCA is at Du Quoin this weekend on the dirt, no TV sadly. Have another decent entry list, I'll be there along with an ARCA Truck Series race at Kentucky Motor Speedway the day before.

I can't believe nobody is showing up to the Truck race.

Nah that won't be a problem, the casts are great, was back on my bike the next day with a slightly modified cast so I could bend my fingers to operate the brake, and my wrist had multiple fractures (don't climb trees kids, it hurts when you come back to earth the quick way).

I know what will piss him off though, when his hand get's hot and sweaty, that itches like nothing I've ever experienced and it drives you fuckin nuts cos you can't scratch it

They should run all 3 series at Montreal in the same weekend, that would be epic. Sadly its only a dream.

And speaking of Darlington its 10 years since the last proper Southern 500 and Terry Labonte's last win.

It was neat how his first and last career wins came at the Southern 500. Daytona may be the biggest race but every driver knows Darlington is the toughest track so it has to be gratifying to bookend your career wins like that.

I was at that last Southern 500. It was kind of a sad feeling, and truly the end of an era, but boy, what a great way to end that era. To say it was a popular win would be a bit of an understatement - the whole place went nuts. Everyone there was happy to see Terry win, rather than one of those young guns.

Terry Labonte was my favorite driver before Robby Gordon. I probably have more Labonte stuff than Gordon even. I was practically in tears towards the end of that race.
