After looking at all the replays, Ty should have known Chase would throw it in there. It's hard to say Chase had the line, because he didn't. He just dive bombed the last turn, because he still had a realistic shot to make it work. Ty on the other hand, knowing his truck was sputtering and that Chase was right on him chose to apex the turn anyways. I don't know if he would have won the drag race to the line, but had he given him the line he probably would have used him up and put him in the grass anyways.

That was just two drivers going for the win as hard as they both possibly could.

The way I see it, if Chase hadn't been there, Ty would have made it safely around the corner to the checkered flag. With the speed and sharp angle Chase entered the corner, even if Ty hadn't been there I still don't think Chase would have made it around that corner without going off the track.
Chase drove into the corner with the intention of spinning Ty or he just drove over his head and missed his marks, neither one is good.

Yeah if Elliott had gotten a wheel alongside before corner entry it would have been all on Dillon. But that's not how it went. I'm not playing favorites (Dillon is kind of annoying and I don't know shit about Chase Elliott aside from his famous dad) but it's really disappointing to see such blatant disregard for clean racing. It wasn't even just an honest aggressive move gone wrong. He fucking dumped him.

I hate Ty Dillon as much as the other guy, but that was just low.

What should have happened is max papis should have had a 3 second lead and won because he's the best road racer in the field.

When the guy trying to make the pass doesn't even make the corner, it's a dive bomb. Dillon should've protected the bottom imo, instead of trying to arc that turn.
