Yeah! BTCC is back!

And here was my wife saying last night how happy she was that F1 wasn't on for a month.

Doesn't feel like 5 weeks since Croft does it? :8:

Ahhh Snetterton, where a batshit insane day of racing in 08 meant an epic race thread the BTCC fans have dined off ever since :p

Will it happen again? Doubtful, it's unlikely you can capture lightning in a bottle twice...

Will we have high expectations of the race and indeed the thread as a result? You betcha! :p

Personally I'll settle for a drinking game: sip whenever the yaytree is shown on screen.
Down your drink if there's an incident with the yaytree in shot.

Also: I hope all those FFords haven't deserted us over the summer... :o

Given that Snetterton should see the return of Andy Neate to the series, I'd suggest a drinking game involving every time he hits something, but I don't think my liver could cope with the punishment.

Going away on holiday Sunday afternoon, or else I would have gone to this one. Although Andy Neate racing + a circuit with no catchfencing, would leave me a very nervous spectator.

Will be up at 7.00 am local time for all the Yay-tree goodness though I'm still struggling to warm to the new Snetterton a little bit. Pretty sad looking support package - 12 entries testing today in everything other than the Porkers (9) and the Clios (23). Hope a few more pop up for raceday.

That's actually a big improvement for Formula Ford tbh

As much as I hate to say it (and yeah, it's a complete about face on my opinions at the start of the year...) I'm starting to get jealous of the grids in BRDC F4.
(But not their TV production though. Big wreckers in their Snet meeting a month or so ago and missed by external cameras...)

Smith just crashed at Riches to bring out the red flag, I did that once, but there was a huge great field to go into back then.

Cue "why did you butcher the track again JP?" rants from me, I'll save you from having to listen though...

Is anybody else watching? Matt Neil has dozed off in his car during the red flag and the commentators are having great fun at his expense

Was pissed off at Jeff Smith for some reason so enthusiastically blocked him for half a lap.

Oh typical Platard then. Grid penalty and points on his license needed then.

Had Jeff Smith done that to Plato, we'd hear no end of crying and penalties. What a twat.
