You're right with the incident I mention. And I've a vague recollection of the one you're referring too.

A pretty tame race day yesterday, with exception of BTCC races 2 & 3 and Juniors.

I don't know of any American series with similar amounts of money in it as the BTCC which goes across the entire country.

Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. California in the West, Florida in the South East. Probably as far apart as they can get. And some pretty small budgets in the mid-back of the field.

World Challenge too.

Nah that's a different one. IIRC with that one he barged a Vauxhall onto the kerb, and the Vauxhall didn't lift and forced its way back onto the track, which spun him left. In the other one, iirc, he spun a car to the right, which ended up on the tri-oval grass.

Gareth Howell in the 3rd Dynamics Integra. Knockhill 2005. He ended up exactly where Plato did in 2008

Should've been banned for the rest of the race weekend.

I'll need to re-watch the 2005 review tonight to see the incident. All I can find on google is this...

[youtubeidiot]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw6-O-d7Utk[/youtubeidiot]

...which is another example of Plato driving, but I don't think it is as clear cut against Plato as Neal makes it out to be.

That's a different incident, but still Platos fault.

Funny how he's had SO many completely prickish moves, that it's hard to remember which one we're all talking about.

Yeh, that's not the one I was talking about.

Actually, 2005 was a bit of a year for Plato. Remember his move on Chilton at Silverstone?

Oh yes who can forget that one. Although it was on Chilton, so you can forgive Plato for that one.

Joking aside, it was probably Chilton's finest piece of driving in his entire career. A great save.

, I'm not so sure you can entirely blame Plato for that incident at Knockhill. The conditions were awful and the field got bunched up thanks to Muller being Muller. I'd actually share the blame between the two, but Neal was definitely the incident victim.

However your point was about how many prickish moves he's been involved with... Well I'd start writing them all down, but there isn't enough paper in the world or storage capacity on the internet to complete the list.

LOL - I just stumbled across this incident as well, from the 2004 finale. Muller's reaction is fantastic.

Speaking of people involved in contact, this TOC pic seems appropriate:

That was when he tapped Chilton at the end of the straight wasn't it? Didn't he get disqualified for that?

Yeh, Plato got DSQ'd for that. See it does happen occasionally.

Great day today at Snetterton. 3 very entertaining races. There was a massive cheer when Plato crashed in race 3

Ehh, as much as I hate Plato, I hate that really.

I was worried for him until he got out, then the hatred resumed as normal :p

The same people clapped when he got out unhurt, so alls fair.

Anyone know if the interview has been capped by anyone. I stupidly forgot to tape the coverage.

Is there any particular reason why the old MGs looks like BMWs?
