Was hoping to go on Friday night, but my work schedule won't allow it. Maybe it'll get postponed to Saturday and I'll go watch both races. :flag:

When has it ever been good (in recent times)?

TNT has just renewed Falling Skies so I suspect you won't have to put up with them for much longer (that's now two very expensive Sci-Fi shows commissioned), infact I would put money on both the NWS and SCS being shared equally between Fox and ESPN in the future.

TNT's booth is still the best. The number of ads is a shame but i'm getting a sat feed every week anyway so I don't care.

Ralph needs to be back in the booth. That call of the 2009 finish was just pure excitement.

I always enjoyed Ralph's commentary with the AMA racing, he's genuinely excited about what's happening on the track and the emotion isn't fabricated.

Like Dr. Jerry's commentary is awful. Heavy contact, car upside down, rolling... yawn.

Yeah I've always enjoyed Ralph's enthusiasm.

Regarding the race, just a bit of speculation, but I don't think it will be as processional as the 500. I think they've seen enough to know that cruising and trying a late charge just won't work with the new car. I'm sure there will still be some riding, but I'd imagine guys (and gal if she's running) will start trying to position themselves much earlier than they would have in the G5 package.

I would have worked out a deal with Curtis Key to get the number 46 for the race.

Other than that, car's awesome.

Is this the first fake sponsor anyone can recall? I'm not counting his "Me" car from the Spring race at Talladega last year.

City Chevrolet is an actual dealership in Charlotte, NC owned by Rick Hendrick.

Just like they occasionally have HendrickCars.com as a sponsor. Rick agreed and that's probably why hes in that YouTube spoof. I think it's awesome. Having 46 would be icing on the cake.

Here is a picture of Michael Waltrip's helmet for this weekend. It's cool, even though it doesn't have much to do with his car.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
