The onboard reminds me of Derek Bell's lap in the works Porsche in 1983 with the angle of the camera and the weather to match.

I noticed his windscreen wiper is rather short. Nothing against the regs isn't there?

Amazing speed difference from the Audis on the Hunaudieres Straight!

Thanks for posting it.

Best journalist question so far asked "so you have 3 drivers, where do you all sit in the car at Le Mans".

Allan could easily fit in the boot but I doubt the car got one.

Same for my uni mates when I told them I am going to Le Mans. They said "Huh? So you are going to sit down in the same place and watch the entire 24 Hours race..?"

But I could do this if I wanted to:

That's how it works. They use Allan because he's better at getting inside the engine to manually control the pistons

Hahaha! I've seen drivers manually control the throttle cable from inside the cockpit, but never this way

Yesterday there was a program about Paris Dakar on television, and the picture above did me think about this situation from the Paris-Dakar prologue from 1987 where he crashed and broke right front suspension (but kept on going and won the event):

Charouz/Praga-Lotus, in the wet but more boring lap as he takes it a bit carefully...

Camping in the tents in the coach park! We had no idea wtf we were doing in 2003. Our poor attempts at communicating too, since there was too much noise and I don't know sign language. :D

In front of the Audi hospitality tent I recall! Plus we weren't prepared we got up in the morning and we stood for hours in the inside of the first corner in the sun for the start of the race lol.
