Yeah doesn't look too bad indeed. Will be easy to keep 2 AM and 2 Pro car's apart. But 3 the same Pro car's would be a bit too much so a fan livery would be welcomed.

Too bad the BoP is offering a win for them on a silver plate.

Not really their fault, more due too ACO's incompetence. If others teams wouldn't agree they surely would have made some protests like Toyota did with their fuel tank.

Oh and thx for the new avatar 8) .

What do we make of the first testing session then? I only managed to catch the last hour myself, and can only relay what was told to me by RLM and what I can see on the live timing.

Apparantly the Toyotas are consistently quick while not being quite as fast as the Audis over the course of one lap. Based purely on laptime I can't say I'm surprised to see the Rebellion squad best of the rest in P1.

P2 looks close, and I personally hope to see the Murphy Prototype (#48) squad do well this year.

I think Aston Martin have assigned one car per class to go for a time this session: The Pro car doing a 19.5 and the Am car doing a 19.9 with the rest taking it relatively easy; probably focusing more on doing the required laps?

Lastly, despite single-lap pace not necessarily being all that important, I'm very glad to see the Manthey Porsches in 3rd and 4th in GTE Pro.

Some good footage from the first session all the way from the Ford Chicane to Tetre Rouge. Includes aftermath of Duval's shunt. Rebellion cars sound great! (esp. @ 3:30)

The cars are fast. The GT Aston is too fast, but hopefully the others will make up for it a bit. But they're below the target time, so they aren't holding back.

The P1s are properly fast. 3:22 is a pretty outstanding time. Come qualifying it might be possible to get under the 3:20 barrier. But the silly average time qualifying won't be fun for it.
