The public can shove it and go watch their F1. :)

Umm? If anything, F1 has showed the middle fonger to these iniatives the longest. They don't even call the cars as hybrids (which they really are).

I meant the "public" or casual racing fans Stan was referring to with regards to Le Mans. They don't watch sportscars anyway, so why bother with gimmicks to appease them?

I'm talking about the green aspect giving Le Mans this 'we also care for the environment'-attitude, which fits well in attracting and keeping sponsors, companies and media attention. Hybrids alone are not enough.

F1 doesn't really need this, yet.

Let's be honest. The Delta Wing got the most attention in "common" non-autosport media.

Especially the repair video generated a lot of media attention! I'm glad the Garage 56 attempt is gone, but maybe it is something Sportcars need to generate attention. A Diesel victory in the media is so 2006.

Somebody on Mulsanne's Corner's facebook group posted this entry list with photos and license levels. Pretty useful :)

Wish planetlemans.com's still made their entry lists with pics of the cars (all from the side, above link has not so great pics for "spotting" purposes). Spotterguides.com's are nice, but they are definitely made more to be printed and for people who are actually at the track.

Sucks that Richie Stanaway isn't getting to do Le Mans, but I guess that's what happens when you aren't paying the bills

One of them will be in a fan made livery, but still Gulf colours.

Incidentally I entered this competition, but don't appeared to have won. My entry was a midnight blue car (almost black), with orange and light blue confetti (or ticker tape) scattered all over the car. It sounded good in my mind but actually looks worse in practice.

Mine was based on a livery I've used in games for a few years.
