that Cevert helmet is really cool, but just a pity the Red Bull emblem is on on the front as well, which kinda ruins it, it should have been made very small, like the ELF logo that was on the original helmet.

but still , quite tasty!

My reward for having to be dragged out of my blissful slumber at 6am is being awake for everything on track today.

So, epic stream showing everything on track today please? :p

Hey look, Fernando trying to play mind games. It's really a shame that he sucks at mind games and is much more badly affected than anyone else. He plays the game the most, but also loses the most.

Sky interview. Fernando was doing his usual - bad mouth the competition and make it sound like the other teams are rubbish.

"Some teams like to say they have the best car, but the last 3 pole positions have not been by them". It is obviously referencing Red Bull and picking and choosing facts to try and back up his BS, whilst Red Bull sit top of both tables currently.

It's similar to when he deliberately makes a reference to Lewis being the best driver on the grid. He only does it when the pressure is getting tight on him and Seb when the title is coming to a close. He says Lewis is the best, to try and affect Sebastian. The beauty of it is, Lewis hasn't been in the title race for a while, so complimenting him means nothing, because Lewis isn't in a position to capitalise. And Lewis, not being a complete dick, naturally returns and says "nah I think Fernando is better". Every so often he'll say Kimi is the best too, and Kimi just doesn't give a fuck.

Basically if you listen to everything Fernando says, it's all psychological warfare. It's all very clever and designed to either annoy or get under the skin of his competitors. The problem is that it doesn't affect them as much as he wants, and he is the one who ends up struggling more, resulting in situations like below, where you can tell Fernando is just broken.

Fernando loves mind games. His problem is he's shit at them.

Unless I'm mistaken, there is catchfence installed at Rivage where GP2 had a pileup last year.

when you check out googlemaps street view, it's just madness to think F1 can drive on these narrow streets.

Regarding Alonso's comments, he was more referring to the fact that some teams that are doing very well in qualifying, but are doing worse in the race due to tyrewear, and that these teams (i.e. Mercedes and Red Bull) are now complaining like little kids that their toys have been taken away.

At least that's how I read it (from a Belgian news paper), and I think he has a point.

Well actually that's not true is it. Vettels interview he stated he wants the tyres changed to stop delamination, because it only takes a delamination in Eau Rouge or similar to turn a tyre failure into something very serious. He doesn't believe it's all debris related. He never mentioned tyre wear in regards to pit stops and performance, only safety.

People say Red Bull and Mercedes only want the tyres changed to suit them. But Lotus and Ferrari only wait them kept the same to suit them. I don't see why one side is selfish and the other side isn't.

Raikkonen seems to struggle here, as usual.

Well. just like the teams the fans have their own agendas. They're either fanboys of one team or another, or neutral and prefer to back the option that will give us the most exciting racing (and opinions on that are divided too....)

You can't make a statement these days without it being dissected and analysed to see what agenda you're peddling. That's the world of f1 though.
