I think he got trapped by a debris caution, which then meant he had to take the wave around and start at the back.

And I tell you what, Dave Blaney was absolutely feral on the radio after he and Kvapil wrecked in oil, I counted at least 6 f-bombs in about 20 seconds from that transmission, saying stuff about not being notified of a yellow, no warning of oil, and a lot of screaming and shouting. Must say it was amusing to listen to.

Overall, I didn't think the race was too bad, wasn't the best I've seen, but I've certainly seen worse. Picked a good spot to sit too, with 2 blowups and 2 other wrecks happening right in front of me.

Agreed. Surprised you managed to stay awake. I skipped through it in about half an hour this morning.

First the Nationwide crash at Daytona, now the cable cam during the 600......fans are gonna need an Ironman suit to watch the races now.

Yeah grabbing it was a really stupid thing to do....

Let us hope FOX don't start experimenting with that Hover-cam seen in BTCC and F1 recently, otherwise that thing will go down and take a few fans with it....

Grabbing that cable is seriously dumb - especially with cars circulating. I remember reading some advice for photographers that said to never lean against an armco or K-rail because if a car hits it even further down the road, the vibrations through the thing can still break your bone ... if you're holding that cable when it gets collected by a car, I'd predict something similar.
