Kyle Busch wins a fairly uneventful race.

Would've been nice to see if Kenseth had anything for Busch, but he lost so much time/track position when Larson doored him in 1-2.

Would still rather watch a shit race at a tast track like this than somewhere like Fontana tho...

Lets see how the Gen 6 handles this tomorrow....

Gen 6 race should be a lot better than this.

I find myself putting the Nationwide race on in the background and doing something more productive around the house until the closing laps.

Anything to avoid watching Kyle Busch buttfuck the field for the 735th time.

I think there were only 2 lead changes on track that weren't under caution

I said this last night and I'll say it again, it's been a bit but I think the Cup Series is back to being better than the Nationwide Series.

Also, ESPN loves sucking off Kyle's talent. I know he is a very talented driver but is he getting too much credit and not enough given to JGR? Dude went winless in his own equipment last year and this year, back with JGR, is butt raping the NNS again. And you can't say KBM equipment was complete junk since Kurt won in it last year.

The Nationwide race last night just felt so damn underwhelming.

Sounds like I got lucky in missing the Nationwide race last night...

Also true. Darlington's at its best when it is slick and greasy and the tires are getting chewed up. Cool nighttime weather without any sun shining on the track? Fuck that shit.

I thought it was enjoyable. They did a good job with the coverage, showing racing where it was happening. I could watch cars running by themselves through the turns at Darlington all day though. It's such an art.

It was funny that they thought the track would return to 'old' Darlington by next year, even as Kahne with two tyres was easily romping away from guys with four.

The Southern 500 should return to Labor Day weekend and be run during the day.

Darlington should be run under the hot sun only.

Getting rid of the Southern 500 on Labor day weekend has been one of the dumbest decisions Nascar has ever made. In my opinion it was one of the four major races on the schedule along with Daytona 500, Coke 600, and Brickyard 400. They may call this race the "Southern 500" but for me the spring Darlington race is the "TranSouth 500."
