Too late. Should be fine if it stays green, though.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

If he can stay ahead of the others, and we get a caution, I assume he'd stay out and end up in the lead.

hahaha

These cars aren't fast enough to break the outright track record from 1996.

These cars are fast enough to break the race record from 1990.

Both are Luyendyk's records.

Marco's team "turning him loose"

Good, he'll take the lead, be unable to pull away, and get passed in 3 laps. Do the teams not see that??

I think AJ should be okay if it stays green. Everyone still has to pit twice regardless, in that situation.

On second thought, AJ's last stop in that scenario would leave him with around 28 laps to run while everyone else will have about 17-20. So that might play against him while the rest of the group has no need to save any fuel.

They have done that number of laps well, but with 10 laps more his tyres may be in worse condition.

He run 30 laps under green, I don't think he'll be in that much trouble. But his last stop will be longer than others so he might be around 20th place once everyone cycles out.

True, but so far we don't really know how much fuel saving has gone on during the runs. I guess he'll be alright though.
