Marquez broke a finger and a toe. He should be able to race though.

Has Pedrosa finally passed his bad luck to his rivals  . 1 Title contender now... That escalated quickly.

It seems that every champion from the last few years has been injured the next:

2009 Champion Rossi, injured at Mugello 2010
2010 Champion Lorenzo, injured at Phillip Island 2011
2011 Champion Stoner, injured at Indianapolis 2012
2012 Champion Lorenzo, injured at Assen 2013

I only tuned in after Q2 started so just want to know how Lorenzo is starting from P12 with a time of 1m35.236s. I see his name on the Q2 timesheet but with no time. Yet, he made it to Q2 so obviously ran Q1 but why didn't he run a lap in Q2?

Lorenzo didn't drove today. Not that familiar with the MotoGP qualifucation system so don't know why he is qualified 12th.

He had the fastest time from the combined practice sessions, which automatically qualifies him for QP2 (top 12 qualifiers). He didn't set a time so is placed 12th in the session. Technically he's not qualified, but usually if a rider has been within 107% in any practice session they will be allowed to start.

So if he does start tomorrow, it will be from last place, yes?

It doesn't actually specify in the regulations, so I'm not sure. But I expect that since he was eligible for QP2 he'd start from 12th, rather than behind all the QP1 riders.

True, if he 'qualified' for Q2, makes sense that he starts 12th I guess.

Dorna must have had Youtube install an auto-delete script, lol. Can someone please upload Lorenzo's crash to mediafire or something?
