And then...

There's Talladega where he blatantly blocked pretty much an entire pack of cars causing a pileup that took Dale Jr. out for 2 races.

Yeah, I know Junior already had a concussion, but that wreck made it worse.

Don't get me wrong, I like Tony, but he clearly has no room to talk.

Tony is a complete tool, he's such cock sucker and its because of repetitive incidents like this.

Race was good, reminded me of old times.

You have to understand these stock car drivers will get mad and fight and complain about the other drivers and the car and the rules. They always have and always will.

It's difficult and ultimately pointless to take sides. Just enjoy the action on the track.

Best Fontana NASCAR race I've seen, tops 2011 by far.

Tony definitely has nothing to bitch about when it comes to blocking. Daytona in '06, Pocono in '06 and Talladega last October are still pretty fresh in my mind, so him going off the handle for something he's done several times is quite funny.

As for the Joey\Denny thing, had nothing happened between them last weekend, it would have been "just another memorable finish"... but, because of last week, it's gotten people fired up, and coupled with the Tony thing, no matter whose side you're on, that's friggin' awesome for the sport!

I was thoroughly entertained yesterday, to the point where I didn't even care Kyle Busch won. It's a good time to be a NASCAR fan, so soak it all in while you can! :)

Didn't see Joey do anything wrong. I don't really like him, but that's not the point. Two guys racing hard for the win on the last lap, niether gave an inch. Show me a driver who'd do differently and I'll show you someone unemployed.

EDIT: Last comment deleted for poor taste in light of Hamlin's injury sustained in crash.

Thats the perfect example how many Lifes the Safer Barrier saved in the last Years. We saw so many viscious hits in the past but almost everyone walked away unhurt. Now Hamlin crashed into a Spot where no Safer Barrier is installed and is injured......

Wonder who Gibbs is gonna put in the 11? Wouldn't mind seeing Vickers in there.

It'll be either Vickers or Sadler.

The good news appears to be that Denny avoided damage to his spinal cord.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

The fact that it was a compression fracture makes me think it was more the elevation change right before hitting the wall, the impact itself, and then the car coming back down after getting airborne.

Just a perfect worst case scenario it appears.

Won't be Vickers, he's in the 55 at Martinsville.

Denny already had back issues, but I can see your point though.

Depending on how severe the fracture is, he may not be out very long. It was mentioned in one article that Will Power suffered a similar injury (in the Wheldon crash) and was cleared to test within a month.

It helps that Cup is off this week as well.

I hope it isn't Sadler, imo he's one of the most overrated drivers ever to strap in a cup car.

You know this board has hit a low period when people are bitching about an injured driver.

Funny how Logano for all he had to say post-race has gone quiet on twitter suddenly.

Won't be Vickers. He is scheduled to run the 55 at Martinsville. I'd guess Sadler, but I'm not sure. Do they think this would help his run for the Nationwide Championship, or hurt it? Also depends on the length he would be subbing, I guess. It would be kind of cool if this is a long-term thing if Reed Sorenson could be in the 11, making him the official injury-sub of Nascar.

Or even better, if they gave a chance to a Nationwide driver like Johanna Long, Jeremy Clements, or someone like that. But it won't happen. They could still make the chase with the Wild Card, so they'll want experienced drivers.

I will more than eagerly point to your TBK rank.

Ok, I'll admit what Logano said in his post-race interview was a bit prickish, but that's not important right now.
