The ending kind of sucked, but the race had its moments. Better than I expected, but that's not saying much.

The only thing I like about this track is it takes entire corner to play out a pass. From the end of the straightaway to the beginning of the next, its a huge question mark. That said, reduce the width of the corners and add 6-8 degrees.

Sometimes, sometimes the wild variety in lines makes passing too EASY, like when Kyle took the lead for the final time, took the high line and seemingly had about 5mph on the car in front running the low line...

If this was an F1 thread there'd be page after page bitching about the high line making passes too easy and maybe we don't need it any more...DRS style :p

I just watch a video of ARCA at Texas World Speedway in 93 and if they could just bank it like that but reduce the width of the corners, I think you'd see a great race. Reminds me of Charlotte vs Texas and Atlanta. Charlotte's corners are much more narrow, which I think produces better racing.

I thought that was a really good race by California standards. Lots of battling.

I'll take it over many Fontana races. Fontana has had some good racing even though it will always be doomed in the court of public opinion. The 2003 race had great racing up front.

I wanted Sam to win but ill give Kyle credit, he worked the high line for laps and finally made it work and got one hell of a run off of 4 to rip by Sam. Good job on Kyles part. Complete credit to him. He won this race.

Wonder if Bliss will run the full race today seeing how he has some extra sponsorship this weekend. Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't though.

This race went caution free last year besides the rain to end it, correct?

Enough with the severe weather coverage, Fox.
