Most likely. If they thought Sky cared little about Indycar by sticking it on SS4, they're in for a shock with ESPN.

ESPN International does indeed a poor job selling their rights.

I guess Tony George influence is getting back again. Trying to make it an all American series again. RTL7 doesn't show a sign of broadcasting it again.

Lol. I don't think any of our channels even know what Indycar is. They do get the memo when something like Wheldon happens, but more often than not they categorize everything American under 'NASCAR'

No, just another set of piss-poor management. Indycar is just under most European's radar at the moment.

True. (It makes one wonder where that "Indycar racing in Italy in 2013" rumor came from though.)

We better hope they don't make the mistake of going to Italy or Europe later this year (not sure if that is dead now or what).

They need to go to Japan and Australia.

Servus TV (Austrian channel, but also availible in Germany) showed the Indy 500 last year, but does not plan to show any race in 2013 according to their mail they wrote me to answer my question.
