oh, look who was involved here!

Oh well, I'm realizing I'm new here

Looks exciting though, many crashes and mechanical failures, close to the drivers and teams, but too many cautions if you ask me :p

No, you're not. Even the commentator mentioned the accordion effect. It always starts from the first one who's pumping the gas and brake, but most of the time following race car drivers know what to do when people are warming up the tires. JR didn't, obviously.

Nope, JR admitted he was looking at the dash and missed the action ahead.

Hildebrand took blame.

He would have some job convincing anyone that it was someone else's fault. Still, good on him for accepting it.

He sort of came in from the corner and didn't hit the rear tire squarely. It was a little similar to Marco/Rahal at Long Beach last year.

What confuses me in all this is that they were about to go green and the 4 was still positioned ahead of the 78. I'd be very interested to hear the explanation for that.

Is it just me or is Will Power always involved in the bizzare situations of IndyCar racing?

In accordion effect there are more cars evading and the impacts stay mild. he was looking completely elsewhere and nobody else in the field took dramatic evasive action.

Yeah. I think her best finish was 4th here in '11.

Yeaa because he blatantly overtook under caution. Guess she's glad he stayed in front now.

The great thing for Simona is that she's been genuinly competitive all weekend and throughout the race. No luck or good fortune helping her get into the position she's in.

Sato moving back up. He seemed to struggle on the blacks only and got mirred back in traffic then.
