As people might think Formula E is a gimmick and a new fad. So some elements of marketing might work there with the image of a racing car with a landmark behind might look good for the series.

I think it's going to go around the Olympic park, IIRC

Battersea Park, by the looks - so the landmark would be Battersea Power Station

Landmarks first, racing second is a shitty way to design a racetrack.

Kinda. This is a fine example of fun racing on a weird street circuit without interesting scenery:

4 chicanes and everything else is 90 degree left or 90 degree right. The shape of things to come?

It's a Chinese street circuit, what did you expect?

We won't see the landmarks in Beijing because of the smog.

That has to be the most unimaginative layout ever. The only effort they've put is to put some random chicanes to prevent any on track actions to ever happen with those pathetic little RC-formulas.

Getting Heidfeld and Trulli on board would be very big. And Bird's great too - could become Formula E's Adam Carroll
