And to top it off, her engine won't go over 6000 RPM's and she doesn't have cash for another. Will probably miss Daytona.

Nope, she's locked into the race, which is bullshit because she'll be bumping out a truck that will actually be able run at a competitive speed. They should've used the provisional system for all 3 series this year

Clay Greenfield has been STOUT! Top of the board and 5th in the two practices. Theres so many big names that need to get in on speed, I hope his truck can handle qualifying.

I think the lack of cars practicing shows that teams and drivers really are taking it easy. I think we will see better racing Sunday.

My question to you guys, would you risk it during the duel or 500? 500 for sure. Again I bring up 2007. First 150 it was the Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart show with single file. Heck even spreading out in the corners like 2004. Then the last 50 laps were chaos.

IMO, that had more to do with the time of day the race was run in coupled with the fact that Busch and Stewart tripped over their dicks taking each other out. Those two were the clear class of the field. Once they were removed and the sun went down, grip came back to the track and everyone went batshit.

I agree with this. After they tore up so much stuff in testing and practice, no one wants to risk anything when there's nothing to gain.

Brennan Newberry wins the pole for the truck race with Justin Lofton starting second.

Nationwide qualifying has now started. A few big names could be knocked out with the starting field shortened to just 40 cars.

Brennan Newberry wins the Truck pole?! :8: Image

And Morgan Shepherd has a decent ride for the first time in a while (old Penske Dodge) he'll be in the pack if he qualifies.

Damn, I used to be team mates with Brennan Newberry in the 2008 USAC California paved midget series. Weird seeing him winning the truck pole while I'm at work detailing cars.

Shit works out like that sometimes, was he a rich kid racing or actually someone that deserves to get where he is at?

Who knows, if he's this bad on Speed. I would hate to think how he is on Top Gear USA.
