Why was Speed apologizing for Kenseth's language? I just re-listened, and he didn't swear at all?

I hate whoring up this thread but...

When a crash happens in practice, then everyone stops... Does anyone consider that maybe the reason the crash happened in the first place was due to a lack of ACTUALLY PRACTICING?

Exactly what I was thinking. They need to get back out there, take it easy, but get in a pack so they can start the learn the limits. Granted that wreck was entirely driver, if they just stop practicing in packs, then they aren't going to have a clue when they actually get a big one going.

I don't understand Jimmie Johnson's strategy of not drafting during testing and practice. I can't the benefit in not having any drafting experience in the new car until the green drops in the Sprint Unlimited.

Anyone else thinking we're going to have a hell of a lot more issues with the cars noses acting like snowploughs this season?

Looking at the 78 get air in the practice crash and I don't think I've ever seen nose to wall contact cause a car to get air before.... :o

yeah, i think the new roof flaps are so huge that the rear of the car has significantly more downforce than the front when traveling backwards

I remember hearing that FOX was supposed to have online streaming ready for this coming season. I tried looking around their site, but didn't find anything. Is there any news regarding that?

EDIT: Nevermind, found a blurb regarding it.

Quote:
An additional and important component to the deal for NASCAR is the inclusion of "TV Everywhere" rights, which allow Fox to live stream its races online beginning with the 2013 season-opening Daytona 500. Fox can also stream pre- and post-race coverage, race highlights and in-progress race highlights.

I was so surprised by Kenseth's mistake that I too, along with the Fox crew, thought that Logano was still driving the #20.

The ARCA race could potentially be an absolute disaster.

The Unlimited will be quite tame but hopefully a good race.
