A driver with the mental age of a 12 year old.

I support this claim.

Or Max Chilton. He looks like a 12 year old.

same way it number 24, anyone who picks it will be mocked a lot in Brazil (as 24 is recalled as a gay number)

just like when Jeff Gordon raced #24 on that rainbow Dupont livery, when I first saw it I thought J. Gordon was openly ghey

Bianchi says he's gone for 7, 27 or 77.

That means he may end up 27 if Kimi is indeed going for 7

Can't wait for the reaction to this

Vergne also wanted 27, and he ended up higher in ranking. So he is allowed to pick first. Maybe someone even higher want that number.

Vergne's first two choices are 25 & 21 though.

The reality is that F1 fans remember that Villeneuve had #27 but a few average drivers did as well.

Bianchi as #27 would be pretty cool, if his career turns out as it should.

#27 only became famous because of GV's death, the Canadian had used #12 for a larger proportion of his career. People seem to forget #27 was used by GV for a little over 1 season.

It's an emotive number no doubt, but statically speaking it has more relevance to Alesi than GV.

I'd go with #2 or #22.

If Bianchi goes to Ferrari after Alonso's leaving the team for 2015 McLaren-Honda seat, then it's indeed a good pick.

But I think F1 should have done same thing that hockey has been doing all a long. Pick any number between 2-99, except for those that are "iced" and in hall of fame. But then again, F1 has always hated it's history and tried all sorts of things to make the series more about the future, so screw that, fans.

27 and 28 should be mandatory assigned to Ferrari. Although I don't think they had much success with those numbers so maybe they don't want them any more.

Ferraris that carried 27 and 28 proved that Enzo was wrong when he said that the best looking car is the winning car

Indeed. For me the driver in car number 27 and 28 was always the great fighter, sometimes against all the odds, but still the warrior in the red.

funny that italian fans have more nostalgia of those times than other with more success like Lauda years. Schumacher changed that a bit but we still see italians waving villeneuve and alesi banners

Giedo married his girlfriend today. So the money flow of his father in law is secured for the upcoming years.

The Hamilton house has more security cameras the any of the Metro stations in Madrid ... based on my counts, a highly accurate statistical source.

110 cameras and not one focuses on one of the main point of entry for thieves? That's just security 101 right there.
