I think more rookies drivers must go on F1. And it's a good thing when McLaren decided to put rookies in their seats. I hope Magnussen or Vandoorne (or both) can go at McLaren to prepare 2015.

For Raïkkonen... it's a bad thing for a good thing. or something like that. But it's certainely politic too.

5/22 of the drivers this year were rookies, which is a pretty good strike rate.

So many rookies, yet it was McLaren who looked like amateurs in 2013. That's quite an impressive performance considering Max Chilton is in the field.

Well, but i said rookies, not amateurs or fucking rich daddy boy. So, you can retire Chilton from that list.

If I was Perez I would tell McLaren where to shove it and try to see if I could go back to Sauber. Afterall he is a known quantity to them and the environment seems better suited to him...plus he can show the McLaren his arse because I am calling it now, McLaren will produce another lackluster car ala 2006 :)

Got to be Valsechi in the lotus. If for no other reason than to show that a reserve driver actually is a reserve. Otherwise what's the point.
He was gp2 champ, a good driver. He deserves a chance. He was smart on his tyres and when to attack in a race, he fits the lotus. Plus he is a good character from the bits I've seen of him.

Can not help feeling that the whole thing is just a PR exercise by Ferrari to appease factions in the media.

Massa changed after his accident in Hungary, debatable, but I think so. He never won since and thinking back all races it's hard not to get all nostalgic remembering his 1st win at Turkey and personal battles since. Must have been a pain being the 'other driver' but he raced Ferraris as a living and probably gonna live pretty OK rest of his life.

I'm happy with that line up, curious how Bottas will measure up with Massa.

Great news because Sirotkin's deal is off according to some people in German media and Sauber will need lot of money and PDVSA's will be very welcomed. :)

Warning, lot's of hearsay in this post but I've read on a Dutch forum that people on the autosport forums found out that the address of Quantum is one of a pizzeria.

I have no access to the autosport forums to check the talk over there.

in his winning days at Ferrari, Massa was the spokesman of Bridgestone tires in brazil

then he made some publicity pieces for Santander

but I dunno if he signed sponsorship for Williams
