the West livery was one of the nicest in F1 history. The chrome McLaren livery was interesting at first but got boring very quickly.

That was because it was awesome with the Johnie Walker livery in 2006. The Vodafone livery just look much less interesting.

I want to create a series of polls to determine which one is the most beautiful F1 car ever.

Bit related, Bernie is going to use the barriers and material from Valencia for New Jersey. In exchange they don't have to pay a fine to Bernie.

To be honest, that's what most circuits look like in the off-season when they are not being used or actively cared for.

When I went there for testing, Barcelona had stuff growing in the stands of the stadium section, and this is a permanent facility used for other events ...

Note to self, consider going to testing again.

I've also posted this in the Indycar Fontana thread as it may have explicit relevance, but there is also a chance that it applies to Maldonado as well.

Quote:
"There was just one racer who, in a year and half, was approved for $66 million," Benitez told the paper. "Just two of these drivers were claiming in a year what it costs us to take the whole team of more than 600 athletes (to an event)."

The only motorsport where you could feasibly spend $66 million in a year-and-a-half is F1. And there is only one Venezuelan in F1.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I thought it was in the region of $30m per season, so if that's the case than no wonder rumours have started suggesting that Williams have lawyers making sure the contract is watertight.

If it's for Viso then that's even funnier.

Holy moly

Will be interesting to see how this pans out. Fingers crossed Williams don't get implicated in any catastrophic way.

Cecotto tbh. All of that money was on repair bills, fines and out-of-court settlements with drivers he's ran into.

Didn't Maldonado also had to pay a shitload of money to race at Monaco again after some lower class incident?

Lower class? That's not a nice way to speak about the marshall he hit. I know it happened in Monaco, but why do we need to bring class into the discussion? tut tut tut.

Well so did Pastor, when he climbed out of his crashed FR3.5 and inspected what he'd got trapped under his wheels[/reallybadtastejoke]
