Wrong thread OS. If you want to talk about F1 you need to go to the shitty / unfunny pictures thread.

Ahh, yes. My bad. Sometimes hard to tell which thread that is exactly ...

So many experts on tyre wear here on TBK. Vettel's complains about safety are ridiculous and can't really be verified. Hopefully he finally shuts up and stops moaning like a spoiled little brat. I don't like him but he's making it oh so easy for me to not like him even more. I've lived thru Schuey's 7 titles but it's nothing compared to Vettel and his bitching.

This post makes me wonder if yiu just lived through schumachers 7 titles, or whether you actually witnessed them? What vettel is achieving is remarkable, especially considering F1 is finding itself in the most competitive state I can remember.. schumacher, although brilliant, had hakkinen to contend with. And thats about it. Furthermore, he had unlimited testing to his disposal which managed to maximize all the teams resources.

Oh. And for all the other haters who claim vettel is only good when starting from the front. Was michael schumacher so much better in traffic?

Like him or not, but just face it, Vettel is a current great and continues to impress..

AMuS is under the impression that part of the fallout from testgate could be the removal of Charlie Whiting as race director, replaced by Giorgio Ascanelli.

It'd remove a key ally for Bernie...

Apparently James Allison will go to Honda to develop an Honda Formula 1 car!!! They will use it for 2014 so they can test unlimited (since they are not bound to F1 regulations until 2015).

I liked Alain Prost, then nothing, then I liked Alonso

I never liked Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel.

But they are all the most talented and greatest drivers from the last couple of decades.

A test hack for their engines? Bit like the Spirit F1 until they have entered it in 1983.

Test him at a Tilke circuit so there is not enough gravel traps for him to sample!

he just need to catch some air and he'll breach through the obstacles such as fences and barriers. maybe a high octane elf fire blast can help him

20 years already. I still remember where I was and what I was doing when I learnt of James' passing.

RIP James.

I can't believe it's 20 years. In my head, the 1990's weren't that long ago!

I was about to watch the BBC highlights of the Canadian Grand Prix when it was announced the show had been cancelled because James had died.

That night in the report on the ITV News at Ten was the first time I had seen the helicopter footage of the aftermath of Ronnie Peterson's crash and James helping to rescue him.

My favourite James commentary was the opening lap of Donington, so not long before the end.

RIP James.
